What is FactoBills?+
FactoBills is an online document generation platform for professional bills, invoices, receipts, and related paperwork. It is developed by Facto IT Solutions (FactoIt.com).
Who is FactoBills for?+
Individuals, freelancers, landlords, employees, consultants, small businesses, and anyone who needs clean, printable documents without installing desktop software.
Which templates are available?+
Rent receipt, GST invoice, fuel bill, hotel bill, medical bill, salary slip, taxi receipt, travel invoice, cash memo, payment receipt, delivery challan, electricity bill, grocery bill, restaurant bill, and general bill — with more added over time.
How do I generate a document?+
Choose a template, enter the required fields, review the live preview, then download a sample PDF or a clean PDF with credits.
Do I need an account to preview?+
No. You can browse templates and preview documents without signing up.
Is FactoBills free to try?+
Yes. New accounts receive 5 free credits — enough to generate 2 free PDFs. Previewing is free. Clean PDF downloads use 2.5 credits each.
What is a credit?+
A credit is the unit used when you download a clean, print-ready PDF. Samples with a watermark do not use credits.
How many credits does one PDF cost?+
Each clean PDF download costs 2.5 credits.
Do credits expire?+
No. Credits never expire and work across all templates.
Is there a subscription?+
No. FactoBills uses simple pay-as-you-go credit wallets. Buy credits when you need them — no monthly lock-in.
What payment methods are supported?+
Payments are processed by Razorpay and typically include UPI, cards, net banking, and popular wallets available on Razorpay checkout.
Can I get a refund?+
Unused credit wallets may be considered case-by-case within 7 days of purchase. Email contact.it@facto.org.in with your order details.
Do sample PDFs have a watermark?+
Yes. Free sample PDFs include a FactoBills watermark. Credit downloads are clean for printing and sharing.
What format are downloads?+
Print-ready PDF files designed for A4-style printing and digital sharing.
Can I customize templates?+
You customize content through structured form fields (names, amounts, dates, line items, and template-specific details). Layout comes from the selected template.
Can I edit a document after downloading?+
Return to the generator, update the fields, and download again. Each clean PDF download uses credits.
Does FactoBills support GST invoices?+
Yes. The GST Invoice template includes fields for seller/buyer details, GSTIN where relevant, and tax-related amounts. You remain responsible for tax accuracy.
Can I create a rent receipt for HRA claims?+
Yes. Include landlord, tenant, property, period, and amount. Confirm any additional requirements with your employer or tax advisor.
Are generated documents legally certified?+
No. FactoBills formats information you enter. You are responsible for accuracy and lawful use. The platform does not verify transactions or certify documents.
Is my document content stored on your servers?+
By default, bill field contents are processed in your browser for preview and PDF generation. We store account and credit activity — not full document contents — for normal operation.
How is my account secured?+
Accounts use hashed passwords. Payments are handled by Razorpay. Use a strong unique password and sign out on shared devices.
Can I use FactoBills on mobile?+
Yes. FactoBills works in modern mobile browsers. No app install is required.
Does FactoBills work offline?+
You need an internet connection to open the site, manage credits, and complete downloads.
How long does generation take?+
Once details are filled in, most people can preview and download within a minute. Time varies with form length.
Can businesses buy credits in bulk?+
Yes. Start with a larger credit wallet on the pricing page, or email contact.it@facto.org.in for volume needs.
Can I transfer credits to another account?+
No. Credits are non-transferable and tied to your FactoBills account.
What if a download fails after credits are deducted?+
Contact contact.it@facto.org.in with the approximate time and template. We review credit adjustments case-by-case.
Do I receive a payment receipt?+
Yes. Razorpay provides payment confirmation. Contact support if you need help locating a receipt for your purchase.
Can I print documents directly?+
Download the PDF, then print from your browser or PDF reader. Templates are designed for clean print output.
