1. Who we are

FactoBills (“FactoBills”, “we”, “us”) is a product of Facto IT Solutions, operated under the parent company FactoIt.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use https://factobills.com and related services.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and a hashed password when you register.
• Usage & credits: template usage events and credit balance changes needed for billing and accounting.
• Payments: order references and payment status via Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or UPI PINs.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited may be processed for security and reliability.

3. Document / bill contents

Details you enter into bill and invoice forms are processed in your browser for live preview and PDF generation. By default we do not store the full contents of your documents — only metadata required for credit deduction and service operation.

4. How we use information

• To create and manage your account and provide credits
• To process payments and prevent fraud
• To improve templates, performance, and support
• To communicate service updates or respond to your requests
• To comply with applicable law

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted processors that help us run the service, including:

• Razorpay — payment processing
• Hosting / infrastructure providers — secure application hosting
• Authorities when required by law

6. Retention & security

Account and credit records are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data; no method of transmission is 100% secure.

7. Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by emailing contact.it@facto.org.in. Some records may be retained where we have a lawful reason to keep them.

8. Children

FactoBills is intended for users who can form a binding contract under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of FactoBills after changes means you accept the updated policy.
