What is a delivery challan?
A delivery challan records the physical movement of goods from one party or location to another. In Indian supply chains it often travels with the vehicle and is checked at security gates and receiving docks. It may accompany a GST invoice or precede invoicing when timing or documentation rules require a separate movement note—confirm your GST documentation practice with your CA for your specific supply type.
